Meta description and title tags - There are many SEO techniques that can be used to optimize your blog. Such as building backlinks, optimizing content, making title tags, meta description, and register your blog to directories or other search engines.

Well, of all the techniques above, in this occasion I will discuss about the Meta Description and Title Tags. Installing meta description on the blog, as well as give identity to our blog. The goal is, to make search engines more easily recognize the contents of our blog. Because the first time that traced on our blog is the blog title, so it would be nice if we insert a description or keywords related to the content of the blog.

How to Install Meta Description and Title Tags

META DESCRIPTION

The first way to increase your blog page's relevance is Meta Description. Meta Description there are two kinds, to the homepage and to page the article. In writing the description, the maximum length is 160 characters.  

How to insert meta description on the homepage

1. Login to your blog
2. Select the setting
3. Click the Search Preferences submenu
4. In the Meta Tag, switch on the Description. Then please fill in the short description of your homepage
5. And then SAVE

How to insert meta description on page article

1. After Description already active (like tutor above), go to the Post. Create a new entry or edit an existing entry.
2. On the right, will appear Descriptions search option. Please fill in the brief description of the article that you create.

TITLE TAGS

The second part we will discuss is the Title Tag. Location of title tag is in the title of the article. To improve the relevance of the Title Tag, you can put a blog keywords that you seek in the Title Tag.

For example, your page entitled "How to Make Drop Down Menu On the Blog", then the title tag should write "How to Make Drop Down Menu In Blog" in the title bar of the browser.

To make the Title Tag is very easy. See the tutorial below :

1. Login to your blog

2. Go to the Template menu, and then click Edit HTML

3. See the red code below :

4. Find code <title>. Then see the code under the code, is it the same with the red color code above. If the same as above, ignore. If different, please delete the code between the <title> and </ title>. If different, please delete the code between the <title> and </ title> then copy and paste the red code above between <title> and </ title>. And then SAVE.
